COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Georgia Tech sophomore right-side hitter Monique Mead was one of 36 players just named to the 2011 U.S. Volleyball Women’s National A2 Program roster.
The U.S. Women’s National A2 Program will take place in Dallas, Texas from May 23 through June 1. The program includes training and competition in the 2011 USA Volleyball Open National Championships in the Open Division from May 28-31. “I’m excited for Monique to have the opportunity again to compete with some of the best players in the country,” said Georgia Tech Head Coach Tonya Johnson. “I know she will take full advantage of this great opportunity. I’m proud of her for the progress that she has made and for the contributions she has made and continues to make in our program.”
