THE FLATS – The No. 11 Georgia Tech women’s tennis team continues action at home on Sunday, welcoming Tennessee to the Ken Byers Tennis Complex for a 3 p.m. match.
THE SCENE: Georgia Tech looks to remain unbeaten on the season welcoming the Volunteers tomorrow. The Jackets improved to 4-0 on the young season after capturing the ITA Kick-Off Weekend and clinching a spot in the ITA National Team Indoor Championships last weekend. Tennessee, which will take on Furman in the morning, brings a 6-0 record into Atlanta this weekend.

ITA RANKINGS – Georgia Tech remains the 11th-ranked team in the country after the latest polls were released this week. The Jackets also boast two singles players in the national rankings as Rasheeda McAdoo sits at No. 42, while freshman Nami Otuska owns a No. 82 rankings. The Volunteers have one singles player ranked in the top-100 as Brittany Lindl sits at No. 64.
LAST TIME OUT – The Jackets clinched a berth into the ITA National Team Indoor Championships later this month with victories over Penn and No. 24 UCLA in the ITA Kick-Off Weekend in Atlanta last weekend. Junior Johnnise Renaud earned ACC Women’s Tennis Player of the Week after going 4-0 on the weekend in both singles and doubles.
