@GeorgiaTechFB to Host Georgia Southern in 2016

Nov. 25, 2014

THE FLATS – Georgia Tech will host Sun Belt Conference champion Georgia Southern in 2016 at Bobby Dodd Stadium. The non-conference game is scheduled for Nov. 19, 2016.

In their first series meeting earlier this season, the Yellow Jackets knocked off the Eagles, 42-38, at Bobby Dodd.

The continuing series with Georgia Southern follows Georgia Tech’s commitment to play Division I Georgia schools in football. Georgia Tech will also play the state’s newest football program, Kennesaw State, on Sept. 4, 2021. Kennesaw State’s first season of football will be 2015 and will be at full-scholarship level (FCS) in 2018. The Jackets play the Georgia Bulldogs every year,  and will host Mercer in 2016.
