THE FLATS – Georgia Tech football’s annual Fan Day presented by UnitedHealthcare, is set for Saturday, August 6 at Bobby Dodd Stadium. Admission is FREE. RSVP on Facebook.
Georgia Tech head coach Paul Johnson and the Yellow Jackets will be on hand to sign autographs and pose for photos with fans. Other activities include Wreckfest, featuring inflatable games, face painting and other fun activities for the whole family, as well as the opportunity to take photos with Georgia Tech cheerleaders, Buzz and the Ramblin’ Wreck.
SCHEDULE
Fan Day kicks off with Wreckfest, beginning at 3:30 p.m. in Callaway Plaza (on the north side of Bobby Dodd Stadium). Georgia Tech football season-ticket holders will be admitted to Bobby Dodd Stadium at 4:30 p.m. and the gates open for the general public at 5 p.m. Fans will enter through the tunnel on the north end of the stadium, which can be accessed at Callaway Plaza. Fan Fest will conclude at 6:30 p.m.
AUTOGRAPH POLICIES
In order to allow for as many fans as possible to receive autographs, fans are asked to limit autographs to one item per student-athlete/coach. Also, any apparel that fans wish to have autographed should be in hand, rather than worn. Autographs obtained from Georgia Tech student-athletes and coaches are for personal use only. Resale of an autographed item is prohibited and the sale of any item with a student-athlete’s signature could jeopardize his NCAA eligibility.
PARKING
Fan Day parking is available in the Peters Deck, the East O’Keefe (E63) and McCamish (E65) lots and on Fowler Street (ER51).
SCHOOL SUPPLIES DRIVE
As part of the Fan Day festivities, Georgia Tech athletics will collect school supplies for local children in need. Collection bins will be available at Wreckfest for fans that wish to donate school supplies.
