Georgia Tech's Spring Football Game And Festivities Set For Tonight

April 18, 2014

Gold & White spring game roster

THE FLATS – “Friday Night on the Flats,” an evening of fan-friendly festivities surrounding Georgia Tech’s annual spring football game, is set for tonight at Bobby Dodd Stadium. The intrasquad game will kickoff at 7p, but due to weather concerns some of the events before and after the game have been modified.

Pre-game activities will begin at 5p with Wreckfest shifted inside the north concourse of Bobby Dodd Stadium. Rock 100.5, Kicks 101.5 and All News 106.7 will be there with live remotes in addition to other vendors. Ruben’s Bell will start a pre-game concert at 5 p.m., and former Georgia Tech all-American quarterback Joe Hamilton will be signing autographs in the AT&T booth 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Callaway Plaza will feature food trucks and other vendors.

Please be aware that normal gameday entry security measures will be in place. However, food and non-alcoholic beverages will be permitted into the stadium. Umbrellas will also be allowed.

The post-game fireworks show has been cancelled.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. inside Bobby Dodd Stadium. All seating, including club seats, is open on a first come, first serve basis.

ESPN3 will broadcast the game online with Brandon Gaudin (play-by-play), Roddy Jones (color analysis) and Sean Bedford (sidelines) calling the action. The spring game is typically four quarters with a shortened halftime and a running clock at some point in the second half.

There is no charge for admission to any of the events.

Season ticket holders who renewed or purchased their 2014 season tickets by April 15 received an e-mail voucher on Wednesday for concession discounts inside Bobby Dodd Stadium. With the voucher, season ticket holders can purchase $2 hot dogs, Coca-Cola products and kettle corn. Certain restrictions apply and digital vouchers will not be accepted. If you are a season ticket holder and did not receive a voucher, please email tickets@athletics.gatech.edu.

Season tickets are now on sale, starting at just $99.
