Georgia Tech Volleyball Swept by Florida State

Florida State hitter Kristen Rust tallied a match-high 11 kills and five block assists to lead the Seminoles to a 3-0 (30-24, 30-25, 30-25) victory over the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Saturday night. With the defeat, the Yellow Jackets drop to 13-11, 9-6 ACC while the Seminoles improve to 8-15, 6-9 ACC.

The Yellow Jackets were led by Talisa Kellogg who had 11 kills in the match and hit .240 while Ulrike Stegemann had 10 kills. Callie Miller also added six kills, hit .250 and posted six blocks. Lindsey Laband ran the offense, posting 30 assists on the night while Jennifer Randall led the team defensively with 18 digs.

Georgia Tech will return to action Friday night when they host NC State at 7 p.m. in O’Keefe Gymnasium.
