Nov. 10, 2014

THE FLATS – No. 23 Georgia Tech’s regular-season finale Nov. 29 against long-time rival No. 14 Georgia will kick at noon on the SEC Network, announced Monday by ESPN.

Georgia Tech and Georgia will meet for the 109th time this season, making it the 19th-most frequently played series among FBS schools. UGA leads the all-time series 64-39-5, including a 30-13-1 edge over the Jackets in Athens.

The Bulldogs have won the last five series meetings. Tech’s last win in the series was a 45-42 win at Georgia in 2008.

Georgia Tech (8-2, 5-2) has won three straight games and returned to the Top 25 following a 56-23 road win at NC State.

Great seats for the Tech/Clemson game are still available, including a limited number of lower level seats. To purchase tickets to the game, fans can purchase online at http://buzz.gt/CLEMvsGTtix or by calling 1-888-TECH-TIX.

Tech’s home finale will also kick off the 14th annual Michael Isenhour Toy Drive, hosted by the Georgia Tech Student-Athlete Advisory Board (SAAB). Fans are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy or a monetary gift to the game. Student-athletes will be stationed at every gate entrance to collect all donations.
