Georgia Tech Football Signs Kitchen To Letter Of Intent

Feb. 24, 2011

ATLANTA – Georgia Tech football’s 2011 recruiting class grew to 23 Thursday when the Yellow Jackets received a letter of intent from Jimmie Kitchen.

Kitchen is a 6-3, 225-pound defensive end. A 2010 Lithonia High School graduate, Kitchen played on both sides of the ball on the prep level. He saw considerable action at center on offense, and tackle and end on defense.

Kitchen gives Georgia Tech 11 signees from the state of Georgia in 2011. Kitchen is the only newcomer who comes to the Flats listed as a defensive lineman.
