Georgia Tech Football Media Day -- Joe Anoai

Aug. 3, 2006

GEORGIA TECH FOOTBALL MEDIA DAY – Senior Defensive Lineman Joe Anoai:

On the type of test Notre Dame will be on the defense

They have a good quarterback, a good running back, good receivers and a good line. It is going to test us right out of the gate. Hopefully we will respond.

On being a leader on and off the field

On the field, I need to continue to do what I do, stay healthy, make some plays, just do it through actions. Off the field, I need to help out the younger guys so we can develop some depth. That also helps moving through the season and with injuries.

On what he looks forward to this season

I just look forward to getting into the season. I am really looking forward to this Notre Dame game. It is a big game for us. It is sold out and should be and fun thing to be part of.
