Georgia Tech athletics hosted its annual ‘Student-Athlete Welcome Back’ event on Sunday, Aug. 28, to kick-off the 2022-23 academic year. The event, held at McCamish Pavilion, welcomed student-athletes from every sport for an evening of fellowship. Highlighting the night, the student-athletes were invited to a prominent panel of former letterwinners featuring Stewart Cink (golf), Shanta Smith Crichlow (track and field), Joe Hamilton (football), Kristi Miller-North (women’s tennis) and Matt Wieters (baseball). The panelists shared advice and stories from their own playing days as current Yellow Jackets prepare for the upcoming academic year.
