During Georgia Tech’s football game versus Georgia last Saturday, the Student-Athlete Advisory Board (SAAB) and Total Person Program (TPP) welcomed 8-year-old Elisa Ferreira and her family to The Flats for a memorable experience. Born with a limb difference, Elisa is an inspiration for the Girl Scouts and is the youngest award winner for the “Unstoppable Girl Scouts” Award, which was given based on her leadership, community and inclusiveness. Saturday was Elisa’s first football game and she was treated to a visit to Helluva Block Party Driven by Hyundai and joined the Georgia Tech cheerleaders for a pre-game experience on the field.
