Georgia Tech will hold its annual Football Fan Day on Saturday, Aug. 27 at 10 a.m. at Bobby Dodd Stadium at Historic Grant Field. Admission is free, and fans are invited to join the Yellow Jackets for autographs, photos and fun.
Head coach Chan Gailey and the entire Tech team will be available, and Buzz, the Ramblin’ Wreck and the Tech cheerleaders will also be on hand. Free Georgia Tech football posters will be distributed, and concessions will be available. There will be free face painting and interactive games for children.
Free parking will be available in Peter’s Parking Deck, and fans should enter via Gate 5 or Gate 7 at the north end of the stadium.
Players will be assembled at field level, with selected players seated at tables under the North stands. Fans are asked to limit themselves to no more than two autographed items per player.
For autographs and photos with Coach Gailey, fans will visit his office, which overlooks Grant Field and can be accessed via the North concourse.
KICKOFF BANQUET
The Metro Atlanta Georgia Tech Clubs’ 15th Annual Georgia Tech Football Kickoff Banquet is set for Friday, August 26th at 6:30 p.m. at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center.
Tech head coach Chan Gailey will speak, along with Voice of the Yellow Jackets Wes Durham and radio analyst Jeff Van Note.
