Hey Jacket Fans!
Well we made it through the long fall season and after recovering from finals and a few bumps and bruises the spring season is finally here!! After a full two weeks of practice, we are excited about what this season has in store for us. The team chemistry is better than it has ever been, and while we are a young team, we believe we have the potential to turn some heads.
We have a new addition to the team since we last spoke. Kristen Adkins (#21) has since transferred from the University of Florida and is enjoying her new position with the Yellow Jackets. She grew up in Texas so it is nice to have another fellow Texan on the team! Kristen is a utility player/ pitcher that will by an instant addition to our pitching staff and defense, and an excellent hitter who will add depth to the lineup. We are expected to be able to begin practicing on the new field early next week. The field looks absolutely amazing (for pictures check out the photo galleries on the website) and we can’t wait for our first home game in March so that everyone can see it!
