Auburn Diving Invitational Underway

Day 1 Results

AUBURN, Ala. – Action began Monday at the 2012 Auburn Diving Invitational, hosted by the Tigers at the Martin Aquatic Center in Auburn, Ala. Shannon Lumbra took fifth on the 3m springboard and Chris Khosravi finished eighth on the 1m.

Lumbra posted a score of 314.20 in the prelims, which had her ranked third heading to the finals. Her score in the finals Monday night of 292.65 was good for fifth place in the field of 12 divers.

On the 1m springboard, Khosravi recorded of a score of 241.90 in Monday’s prelims, and improved on that in the finals with a score of 297.55, which was good for eighth overall.

The meet continues on Tuesday.
