Tallahassee, Fla – Kelly Anderson completed a sweep of the singles and doubles titles at the 2004 Lady Seminole Classic, which was held at the Florida State University tennis courts in Tallahassee, Fla.
The junior defeated USF’s Gabriela Duch, 6-3, 6-3, in the Flight No. 1 singles bracket Sunday after earning the Flight No. 1 doubles title with teammate Esther van Londen Saturday afternoon.
In other tournament action, sophomore Alison Silverio earned a fifth-place finish with a 6-2, 6-2 victory over USF’s Liz Cruz while van Londen dropped her fifth-place match against UCF’s Ola Luczak, 6-1, 6-1.
The Yellow Jackets will compete in their final tournament of the fall, the Georgia Tech Invitational, this weekend. Tournament action begins Friday morning and will continue through Sunday.
