ABC-TV Tabs Jackets for Second Straight Week

ATLANTA (Oct. 25) – For the second straight week a Georgia Tech football game has been selected to be regionally televised on ABC-TV the network announced Monday. ABC will televise the Nov. 6 Georgia Tech-Virginia football game which will be played in Charlottesville. The game will have a 3:30 p.m. kickoff.

The selection by ABC follows a similar choice of Techs game this week against N. C. State, which will also be televised regionally and will have a 3:30 p.m. kickoff only this week it will be at Bobby Dodd Stadium.

The choice of Techs game with Virginia brings to a minimum of five the number of appearances the Rambling Wreck will have on ABC this year. The Jackets previous games against Florida State on Sept. 11 and against North Carolina on Oct. 9 were televised on ABC, while the Jackets Nov. 27 home game against arch-rival Georgia. –
