What You Need to Know

Bobby Dodd Stadium at Hyundai Field is undergoing a $70 million renovation that will transform the fan experience ahead of the 2027 football season. The renovation is significantly changing the stadium’s seating configuration, including approximately 12,500 new chairback seats, wider aisles and additional handrails. Because of these changes, all eligible season ticket members will select new seats for the 2027 season.

A reseat means eligible season ticket members will select their 2027 football seats in the renovated Bobby Dodd Stadium. o Every eligible member will select from the new seating inventory, regardless of whether their current section is directly impacted by construction. To participate, members must first commit to their 2027 season tickets by December 31, 2026.

A-T Fund Priority Points will determine the order in which eligible season ticket members select their 2027 seats. All eligible football season ticket members who commit to 2027 season tickets will receive a seat selection time based on their A-T Fund Priority Points ranking, which will be frozen as of December 31, 2026.

A-T Fund Priority Points recognize your longstanding support of Georgia Tech Athletics and are used to determine priority for benefits including tickets and parking to home, away and postseason events.

Ahead of the December 31, 2026 Priority Points freeze, members will have opportunities to increase their points through giving to the Alexander-Tharpe Fund, TECH Fund Advancements, and the purchase or renewal of season tickets for other Georgia Tech sports.

2027 Season Ticket Commitments

This fall, 2026 football season ticket members will be asked to make their commitments to season tickets for the 2027 season at newly renovated Bobby Dodd Stadium at Hyundai Field. Season ticket members will be able to make their commitments quickly and easily by logging into their Georgia Tech ticket account.

To make your commitment for 2027 season tickets, you will purchase the base price of your tickets. For example, if you’re committing to four season tickets in 2027, you will pay for the base price of those four tickets this fall (not including any associated donations to the TECH Fund). The base price for all season tickets at Bobby Dodd Stadium in 2027 will be $250 per seat.

Payment for season ticket commitments may be spread over a three-month payment plan (more info below).

2027 season ticket commitments will be accepted through Dec. 31, 2026.

Selecting Your Seats

All season ticket members that commit to 2027 season tickets will select their seats online early in 2027. All members will be assigned a time slot to select their seats based on Alexander-Tharpe Fund Priority Points ranking. For the purpose of the reseating process, A-T Fund Priority Point rankings will freeze on Dec. 31, 2026.

If a season ticket member does not select their seats online at their assigned time, they will be provided with seats that correspond as closely as possible to their 2026 seat location. However, please know that if you miss your selection time and are unhappy with the seats that are provided for you, you will have the opportunity to explore other seating options with a member of the Georgia Tech athletics ticket office staff!

Ways to Improve Your A-T Fund Priority Points Ranking

There are several ways to acquire A-T Fund Priority Points ahead of the Dec. 31, 2026 point freeze and improve your ranking ahead of the seat selection process in early 2027.

  • Make a philanthropic gift to the A-T Fund before the points freeze on Dec. 31, 2026. Gifts to the Full Steam Ahead initiative and/or the Athletic Scholarship Fund receive two (2) points per $100 given. Click HERE to make a gift.
  • Make a TECH Fund advancement before the point freeze on Dec. 31, 2026.
  • Purchase or renew season tickets for other Georgia Tech sports before the point freeze deadline on Dec. 31, 2026. Season tickets are now available for 2026-27 men’s basketball, women’s basketball, baseball and softball. Click HERE for more information and to purchase season tickets.

A-T Fund Priority Points are valuable beyond the reseating process. Rankings are used to determine allocation of tickets to home, away and postseason events (including College Football Playoffs, bowl games and NCAA Tournaments) and parking locations. The system was implemented in 1987 and rewards both gift amounts and long-term support of Georgia Tech athletics. It is intended to promote fairness, create new giving opportunities, reward the loyalty of our longtime supporters, accommodate individual circumstances and benefit the entire Institute.

TECH Fund Advancements

In order to accommodate fans that wish to do so, football season ticket members may (but are not required to) put down an advancement on the required TECH Fund contribution for their 2027 season ticket location in the fall of 2026.

Benefits of putting down an advancement on TECH Fund contributions this fall include spreading the TECH Fund contribution over a three-month payment plan (more information below) and receiving A-T Fund Priority Points (1 point per $100 contributed to the A-T Fund) ahead of the point freeze on Dec. 31, 2026.

Making a TECH Fund advancement this fall does not guarantee access to tickets in a specific stadium location. If your TECH Fund advancement is larger than what is required for your ticket location when you select your seats, the balance of your advancement will be credited to your 2028 football season tickets.

Payment Plans

Two payment plans will be available for season ticket members that wish to spread their payments for 2027 season tickets over up to seven months, which mirrors the seven-month ticket renewal payment plan that was available for 2026 season tickets.

When season ticket commitments are made this fall, season ticket members can elect to spread their commitment payments, as well as optional TECH Fund advancements, over three months – 1/3 at the time of commitment, 1/3 in November and 1/3 in December. Additionally, any balances due following the seat selection process can be spread over a four-month payment plan – 1/4 at time of seat selection, 1/4 in April, 1/4 in May and 1/4 in June.

These options will be available with season ticket members that have previously elected to pay for season tickets via a payment plan in mind. With a three-month payment plan available for season ticket commitments and TECH Fund advancement this fall and a four-month payment plan available for balances following seat selections, 2027 season ticket members will be able to spread out payments for their season tickets over seven months, which mirrors the structure of the seven-month ticket renewal payment plan in 2026.

Group Seating

One of the things that makes being a season ticket member so special is gathering with longtime friends, family and fellow Georgia Tech fans to make memories together on The Flats. We are very aware that there are groups of season ticket members that have sat together for generations, and we are committed to keeping those traditions intact!

Group seating will be available for groups of up to ten (10) different season ticket member accounts. One season ticket account will fill out a group seating form and all accounts from that group will be given the same seat selection time. The group’s selection time will be based on the average A-T Fund Priority Points of all accounts within the group.

For example, Buzz has four season tickets and 250 A-T Fund Priority Points. Buzz wishes to sit in a group with George P. Burdell (two season tickets and 200 points) and Sideways (six season tickets and 350 points). All members of the group commit to their season tickets and Buzz fills out the group seating form within his Georgia Tech ticket account before the Dec. 31, 2026 deadline.

Buzz, George P. Burdell and Sideways will all be assigned the same selection time, based on a ranking of 266.67 A-T Fund Priority Points. At their assigned selection time, Buzz, George P. Burdell and Sideways will all log on to select their seats, communicating with each other to choose which seats they want to select.

Maximum Seats Per Account

To give as many fans as possible access to the best seats in the newly renovated Bobby Dodd Stadium, season ticket members can commit to a maximum of ten seats per account. EXCEPTION: If a season ticket member has more than ten season tickets in 2026, they may commit to up to the same number of season tickets for 2027.

During the seat selection process, if a season ticket member wishes to purchase more seats than they committed to, they may do so at that time, but only up to a maximum of ten.

Parking

As part of the Bobby Dodd Stadium reseating process, current parking locations for all Georgia Tech football season ticket members will also be reset, giving members the opportunity to select a new parking location.

Like seat selection in Bobby Dodd Stadium, parking selection time will be assigned based on the season ticket member’s A-T Fund Priority Points ranking. Fans will have two parking price zones to choose from with a variety of locations to best fit your gameday needs.

Premium Areas

Access to the brand-new Founders Club and VIP Members Club, as well as the fully renovated East Club, are available to donors that have made commitments to the Full Steam Ahead initiative. A member of the A-T Fund staff will communicate seating processes within those areas to those who are eligible at a later date.

Please contact the A-T Fund office at (404) 894-5414 or atfund@athletics.gatech.edu or click HERE to fill out an interest form if you’d like to hear more about premium seating opportunities at Bobby Dodd Stadium in 2027 and beyond.

Can I use a payment plan for my season ticket commitment?

Yes. The 2027 commitment may be paid over three installments:

  • 1/3 at the time of commitment
  • 1/3 in November 2026

The same payment plan is available for optional TECH Fund advancements.

What happens if I do not make my commitment by December 31?

Members who do not commit by the December 31 deadline will not be included in the seat selection process and will not have 2027 season tickets.

Will the Ticket Office select our seats for us?

No. At the group’s assigned selection time, each member logs into their own account and selects their own seats. Group members should coordinate their selections to sit together.

What is a TECH Fund Advancement?

A TECH Fund Advancement allows you to make an optional payment toward the TECH Fund contribution associated with your future 2027 season ticket location during fall 2026.

TECH Fund Advancements are not required to commit to 2027 season tickets.

Can a TECH Fund Advancement increase my Priority Points?

Yes. TECH Fund Advancements earn 1 A-T Fund Priority Point per $100 contributed, provided the contribution is made before the December 31, 2026 Priority Point Freeze.

Does making a TECH Fund Advancement guarantee me a particular section or seat?

No. A TECH Fund Advancement does not guarantee a specific stadium location.

What happens if my advancement is more than the TECH Fund contribution required for my 2027 location?

Any excess balance will be credited toward your 2028 football season tickets.

Can I spread my 2027 payments over multiple months?

How do I learn more about premium seating?
