Tech's Kristi Miller Earns ACC Women's Tennis Performer of the Week

Greensboro, NC – Georgia Tech’s Kristi Miller was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Tennis Performer of the Week helping the Yellow Jackets to a 5-2 win over No. 41 Baylor on Saturday in Atlanta, Ga.

Miller, along with teammate Alison Silverio, clinched the doubles point for the Yellow Jackets with an 8-4 win over the Bears’ Zuzana Cerna and Daniela Covello, ranked No. 9 nationally, giving Georgia Tech an early 1-0 lead in the match.

At the No. 1 singles position, the freshman from Marysville, Mich., downed No. 92 Zuzana Zemenova 7-5, 7-6 (6) to give the Yellow Jackets the 5-2 match victory over Baylor.

Miller and the Yellow Jackets are back in action Sunday, February 13 as they will travel to Columbus, Ohio to take on Ohio State at 12:00 pm.
