Terrance Beavers returned to Georgia Tech in January 2024 as assistant athletics director for video and broadcast services.
Beavers previously served as a television production manager for Georgia Tech athletics from 2005-09. In his role, he produced the Yellow Jackets’ weekly football and men’s basketball TV shows and created content for ramblinwreck.com, the official website of Tech athletics.
Between his stints on The Flats, Beavers served as video production manager for IMG Georgia Sports Properties from 2009-13, held two roles at the College Football Hall of Fame – manager of content and production (2013-20) and senior manager of content and production (2020-21) – and, most recently, was a technical director/director and editor with the Atlanta Braves from 2021-24.
In his role with the Braves, he was a member of a team of editors, producers, technical directors and graphic designers that managed storytelling assignments across all platforms while ensuring brand consistency, entertaining fans, meeting sponsor obligations and supporting the team’s players and coaches. In recognition of their exceptional efforts, the team won the 2023 Best in Baseball Award from the Information Display and Entertainment Association (IDEA).
Beavers also serves as an instant replay operator for the Atlanta Falcons, Hawks and United, and was a content creator for the Naismith Trophy.
He is a graduate of Clark Atlanta University, where he earned a B.A. in mass media arts/radio, TV, film.
