Kane Ivers-Osthus joined Georgia Tech’s athletics equipment staff in 2019. He works directly with the Yellow Jackets’ football program.
Ivers-Osthus came to The Flats after two seasons at Temple. He arrived at Temple in January 2017 as a graduate assistant and was promoted to a full-time assistant equipment manager just five months later.
Prior to his two-year stint at Temple, Ivers-Osthus was a student at Florida, where he served as a scholarship student equipment manager for three seasons (2014-16).
In addition to his roles at Georgia Tech, Temple and Florida, the Melbourne, Fla. native also interned in the multimedia department of the New York Collegiate Baseball League’s Rome Generals.
Ivers-Osthus is a cancer survivor, having overcome acute promyelocytic leukemia, an aggressive and rare form of blood cancer, during his time at Temple.
