As a Senior (2025): Appeared in 29 games, making five starts in the circle … Finished the season with a 3.42 ERA, three wins, five saves, 69.2 innings pitched, and 59 strikeouts … Earned her first win of the season against Western Kentucky (Feb. 9) as a relief pitcher after recording four strikeouts and facing 17 batters across 4.2 innings pitched … Pitched a season high 5.1 innings and collected four strikeouts against Cal (Mar. 15) … Recorded a season high six strikeouts in her 3.2 innings pitched against Mercer (Mar. 25) … Her five saves in the 2025 season put her second all time in program history for saves in a single season and bring her career total to 11, which puts her second all time in program history for career saves … Two of her five saves came against top-20 opponents, the first being No. 18 Stanford (Feb. 28) and the second being No. 15 Oklahoma State (Mar. 27)
As a Junior (2024): Made 34 appearances in the circle, including eight starts, and threw a total 49 strikeouts across 73.0 innings for a 9-7 record in the 2024 season … Pitched through a season high 5.0 innings twice, once in Tech’s 14-9 win against Troy (4/3/24) and against Louisville (4/13/24) … Hurled a season high seven strikeouts twice, once against Louisville (4/13/24) and again against Virginia (4/28/24) … Recorded her first win of the season after pitching 3.0 innings to help Tech down Georgia St. 9-4 (2/21/25) … Didn’t surrender a single hit in three games in the 2024 season, including in Tech’s 6-5 win against Virginia (4/26/24)
As a Sophomore (2023): Made 18 appearances in the circle, earning two starts … Compiled 21 strikeouts in 26 innings of work, clinching a pair of saves … Turned in a .278 batting average against with a 5.92 ERA … Allowed just one hit and added a strikeout through an inning to secure her first save of the season in a 5-2 win over Illinois (Feb. 18) … Tallied three strikeouts and surrendered just one hit in 1.2 innings pitched for her second save of the year clinching a 5-3 win over Kennesaw State (Feb. 21) … Career-high four punchouts in four innings pitched against Illinois (Feb. 19) … Allowed no runs on three hits with two strikeouts through 3.1 innings in the circle in the season opener against UConn (Feb. 10) … Six multi-strikeout appearances.
As a Freshman (2022): Made three appearances in the circle on the season … Posted a 3.50 ERA through four innings of work with a strikeout … Allowed a .267 opponent batting average … Aided in a shutout against ETSU (Feb. 26), tossing a career-high two scoreless innings … Earned her first strikeout against Central Arkansas (Feb. 18), throwing 1.1 hitless innings.
High School: Comes to Georgia Tech from Woodstock, Ga. The right-handed pitcher ranks No. 50 overall and No. 29 among pitchers nationally on the Extra Inning Softball 2021 Extra Elite 100. A three-time all-state, all-county and all-region honoree, Norton helped lead Etowah High School to regional titles in 2017 and 2020, and owns school records for most career strikeouts and most strikeouts in a season. She was named 2020 Region Pitcher of the Year, while also being named to the GA Dugout All-Star Senior team and GA All-Star Junior team. In addition to her accomplishments off the field, Norton was named Wendy’s Heisman Scholarship School winner. She intends to major in industrial design at Georgia Tech.
