Saw back-up duty on the defensive line as well as on special teams… played in all 14 games… recorded six tackles… recorded a career-high three tackles in the season opener against Jacksonville State (Sept. 5)… had solo tackles at Miami (Sept. 17) and vs. Virginia Tech (Oct. 17).
2008 (Freshman)
Served as a back-up at linebacker and a member of special teams… recorded three solo tackles on the season… had a tackle-for-loss in the Duke game(Oct. 4)… recorded solo tackles vs. Mississippi State (Sept. 20)and Jacksonville State (Aug. 28).

PrepStar all-region selection… All-Metro and all-region selection as well as a second-team all-state honoree… collected 14 sacks as a senior… also had 80 tackles, eight tackles-for-loss, 15 quarterback hurries, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and three pass break-ups… team captain for coach Roger Haynes at Sparkman High.
