Ryan Templeton joined the Georgia Tech athletics compliance staff as director of compliance in April 2023.
At Georgia Tech, he will be the primary liaison for all eligibility issues. He will also provide support to all GTAA coaches, staff, and student-athletes regarding NCAA rules and regulations.
Prior to starting at Georgia Tech, Templeton spent the previous two years at Drake University serving as an assistant director of compliance. While at Drake, he was involved in a variety of areas including recruiting and playing season, monitoring, eligibility and financial aid.
Templeton got his start in collegiate athletics, spending a year at his alma mater, Florida A&M, as their compliance coordinator, before transitioning to Drake.
A three-year letterwinnner on the football team with the Rattlers, Templeton earned two degrees from Florida A&M, a bachelor of science in psychology in 2016 and a master of science in sport management in 2021.
