Erica Sheppard joined the Georgia Tech Athletic Association staff in August 2007 as a graduate assistant in the ticket office. She later became a graduate assistant for Tech’s men’s basketball program in 2008.
Since May 2009, she has been the administrative coordinator for the men’s basketball program, where she coordinates all travel, schedules speaking arrangements, reconcile expense reports, manage recruiting logs, and draft correspondence for the GT coaching staff. She also is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with area charities and local schools, as well as plan community service opportunities for the team and staff.
Sheppard graduated from Northeastern University in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in management. While at Northeastern, she was a four-year letterwinner on the women’s basketball team. She later earned her master’s degree in sport business administration from Georgia State in 2009.
