Dr. Jenny Kraska currently serves as the director of sports psychology at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Prior to Georgia Tech, Dr. Kraska served as the assistant director before being promoted to director of C.A.T.S. clinical & sport psychology at the University of Arizona. Dr. Kraska specializes in providing mental health and mental performance services to university student-athletes, consults with coaches, and works within the interdisciplinary sport medicine staff to improve treatment outcomes.
Dr. Kraska earned a doctorate in clinician psychology from California Lutheran University. She went on to complete her postdoctoral fellowship within the athletic department at Washington State University. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Arizona State University’s counseling services, specializing in providing mental health and mental performance services to student-athletes. Prior to her internship, she completed clinical training at California Lutheran University’s counseling & psychological services where she was a liaison to the athletic department.
Dr. Kraska also earned her master’s and bachelor’s degrees from California Lutheran University. She was a student-athlete and team captain on the women’s soccer teams at Saddleback College and California Lutheran University. Dr. Kraska is an Atlanta native who graduated from Pope High School.
