Brooks Barrineau is in his third season with Georgia Tech football and his first as the Yellow Jackets’ director of recruiting.
Barrineau came to Georgia Tech as an player personnel intern in February 2021, then was promoted to associate director of player personnel in 2022 before becoming director of recruiting in 2023. Prior to his arrival at Tech, Barrineau attended Clemson, where he was a student assistant in the Tigers’ football recruiting office. While at Clemson, he also served as a student assistant with the Tigers’ baseball program and was a volunteer at the 2019 NFL Draft.
Barrineau attended nearby Kennesaw State for two years before transferring to Clemson, where he was a dean’s list student and earned a bachelor’s degree in parks, recreation, tourism and management.
