Brittany Sander joined Georgia Tech athletics in the Alexander-Tharpe Fund in May 2017 in an intern role before becoming a development assistant in December 2018. She transitioned to her current role of chief of staff in February 2023.
With the A-T Fund, Sander has held roles relating to administration and support, young alumni and student engagement, event planning and execution and hospitality and stewardship. She has served as support for the major gift team, while also assisting in planning and organization of multiple A-T events, including board meetings, Georgia Tech Hall of Fame Dinner, A-T Fund Giving Society events, Annual Endowment Dinner and State of Athletics.
Sander is also an advisor to the Young Alumni Yellow Jacket Club and is responsible for programming, communication and event planning for the organization of 245 members. She oversees the Young Alumni Board of 10 alumni and coordinates meeting logistics. Additionally, Sander is an advisor to the Student Yellow Jacket Club and its 5,000 members, coordinating events and regular group and individual meetings with the club president, executive team, committee chairs and committee members.
Within the Georgia Tech Athletic Association, Sander is co-lead on the Staff Appreciation huddle, helping coordinate planning and execution for staff events throughout the year.
Sander graduated from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in sport and entertainment management in 2018. She earned her master’s degree in sport management from Georgia Southern in 2021.
