Beverli Owens joined the Georgia Tech Athletic Association staff as an assistant athletic trainer in February 2022. She works primarily with the cross country and track and field programs.
Prior to arriving on The Flats, Owens worked at Southern University as an athletic trainer for cross country and track and field from 2021-22. Before that stint, she served as the head athletic trainer at Fayette County High School from 2019-20.
Owens is a member of the National Athletic Training Association, Southeast Athletic Training Association and Georgia Athletic Training Association. She is certified in the state of Georgia as an athletic trainer.
A native of Stone Mountain, Ga., Owens graduated from North Carolina A&T State University in 2016 with a bachelor of science in sports science. She earned a masters of science in athletic training from Lenoir Rhyne University in 2019.
