2022 Outdoor: Started the season with a first-place finish in the 10,000m (33:00.89) at the Raleigh Relays … Placed third in the 5000m (15:53.42) and earned All-ACC First Team honors at the ACC Outdoor Championships … Qualified for Nationals with a 10th-place finish in the 5000m (15:56.61) at the NCAA East Preliminaries … Finished 21st in the 5000m (16:05.64) at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Championships and earned Honorable Mention All-American honors
2022 Indoor: Won the mile (4:45.14) and placed third in the 1000m (2:48.51, PR) at the Commodore Indoor meet … Placed third in the mile (4:36.55) at the Music City Challenge … Earned an ACC Indoor Champion title with a PR, school record and facility record in the 3000m (9:01.31) and assisted the DMR team to a school record time of 11:15.33 … Qualified for the NCAA Division I Indoor Championships and finished 11th in the 3000m (9:08.41), earning Second Team All-American honors
2021 Cross Country: Raced in five meets … Won the 4K race (13:15.2) at the Kennesaw State Opener … Championed the 6K (20:41.9) at the PSU National Open … Finished seventh in the 6K (20:30.8), earning All-ACC honors at the ACC Championships … Led the Jackets with an 11th-place finish and PR in the 6K (20:06.7) and earned All-South Region honors at the NCAA Division I South Region Championships
2021 Outdoor: Helped lead the Yellow Jacket women to a 33rd-place team finish at NCAA Outdoor National Championships … Second Team All-American in the women’s 5K backed by a 15:59.72 race at nationals to garner a 15th-place finish … Captured the ACC women’s 10K title with a school and meet record mark of 32:45.30 in her first ever collegiate 10K race, upsetting one of the best fields in the country … Broke the outdoor school record for the women’s 5K at Raleigh Relays, coming in at 15:37.16 to shatter the previous program best mark of 16:12.03 (Hana Herndon) … Followed her 5K record with another outdoor school record breaking performance with a 4:18.95 effort in the women’s 1500m at the Crimson Tide Invite, toppling the previous record of 4:19.91 (Nicole Campbell) … Started the year off with a personal best mark of 2:10.31 in the women’s 800m at the Yellow Jacket Invite
2021 Indoor: Second Team All-American in the women’s 5K clocking in at 16:07.75 which was good for No. 10 in the country … All-ACC honoree in the women’s 3K following a fourth-place performance at ACC Indoor Championships … Set school records in the women’s indoor 5K (16:06.50) and women’s indoor mile (4:41.33) … Made podium five times throughout the 2021 indoor season … Started the year off with two second-place finishes in the women’s mile at the Clemson Invite and women’s 5K at the Carolina Challenge … Broke women’s indoor mile school record at the Music City Challenge in Nashville, blazing to a 4:41.33 finish
2020 Cross Country: In arguably the most unique season in the history of NCAA D1 collegiate XC due to the COVID-19 pandemic Nicole Fegans was the Yellow Jackets top women’s distance runner in 2020 and helped guide the team to its best ever finishes at ACC XC Championships (2nd-place) and NCAA XC Championships (No. 20) … Had an All-American season that culminated with a 12th-place finish in the women’s 6K race at NCAA XC Championships, clocking in at 20:29 to earn the second best individual finish at nationals in women’s program history … All-ACC honoree following a ninth-place finish in the women’s 6K race at ACC XC Championships, crossing the finish line at 20:30 as the first Jacket runner in a year that featured a program-best three All-ACC honorees … Had a sixth-place performance at the UAB Blazer Classic in a loaded field in the women’s 6K, recording a time of 20:24 … Claimed the individual title in the women’s 6K race at the Mountain Dew Gator Cross Country Invitational to start off the 2020 campaign
2020 Indoor: Had a historic junior season setting new women’s school indoor records in the women’s mile (4:41.55) & 3000m (9:06.92) … Earned USTFCCCA All-American honors in the 3000m … Captured her first ACC individual championship in the 3000m finals in South Bend … Qualified for NCAA Division I National Championships in the 3000m prior to the cancellation of the 2020 indoor season … Ranked No. 14 in the nation prior to nationals in the 3000m … Broke school indoor mile record twice during regular season at the Bob Pollack Invitational (4:43.28) & Charlie Thomas Invitational (4:41.55) … Six podium finishes throughout the year in multiple events … Assisted the DMR squad in first-place finish at the Charlie Thomas Invitational
2019 Cross Country: Tech’s top finisher at every meet this season … Earned All-South Region honors and helped the Jackets finish fourth with a 6K time of 20:41.7, placing 18th overall at the NCAA South Regional … Was named All-ACC and finished 20th at the ACC Championships, with a 6K time of 21:20.8 … Led Tech to a first-place finish and placed second individually with a 4K time of 13:26.6 at the Bulldog Invite … Crossed the finish line fourth and helped tech earn second place at the Penn State National Open with a personal-best 6K time of 20:31.4 … Finished fifth with a 5K time of 17:21.3 at the Battle in Beantown.
2019 Outdoor: Turned in a personal-best 1500m time of 4:22.96 to finish third at the Joe Walker Classic … Also earned a PR in the 5000m (16:16.28) at the Raleigh Relays … Earned a fifth-place finish in the 1500m (4:38.51) and also competed in the 4×400 (4:22.57) at the FSU Relays … Turned in a 1500m time of 4:38.51, finishing sixth, and ran with the 4×400 group (4:09.87) at the Yellow Jacket Invitational … Competed in the 5000m at the Penn Relays (16:32.63) … Also ran the 5000m at the ACC Championships (16:51.18) and NCAA East Region prelims (16:52.98).
2019 Indoor: Ran a season-best 9:38.70 in the 3000m at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational … Finished seventh in the 3000m at the Power Five Invitational with a time of 9:42.74 … Also competed in the 3000m at the ACC Indoor Track & Field Championships, finishing in 9:47.73.
2018 Cross Country: Helped lead Georgia Tech to the 2018 NCAA Cross Country Championship for the first time since 2001, finishing with a 6K time of 21:27.7 … recorded a 6K time of 21:17.3 at the NCAA South Region Cross Country Championships … finished 30th at the ACC Championships with a 6K time of 21:18.1 … finished fourth at the Georgia Bulldog Invitational with a 5.5K PR of 20:48.2 … set a new 5K PR with a time of 17:39.0 while finishing 13th at the Coast-to-Coast Battle of Beantown … finished with a 6K time of 21:17.5 at the Penn State Nationals Open
2018 Outdoor: Ran a season-best 4:26.49 in the 1500m at the Tiger Track Classic to finish fifth … posted the fourth-fastest 5K time in school history (16:26.12) at the Yellow Jacket Invitational to take gold … helped break the 23-year-old 4x1500m relay record by finishing seventh with a time of 18:15.33 – 11 seconds faster than the previous time.
2018 Indoor: Ran a 3:01.14 in her lone 1000m at the Orange & Purple Invite … Turned in a season-best mile time of 4:54.62 at the Charlie Thomas Invitational … recorded a season-best 3K performance (9:34.55) at the Music City Challenge – good for third-fastest all-time in school history … helped lead a DMR group to the third-fastest time (11:27.20) in school history … ran a 17:11.14 in the 5K at the ACC Championships.
2017 Cross Country: Started off the year by winning the Jacksonville State Open as an unattached runner, turning in a time of 14:06.40 in the 4K meet … ran a season-best 6K time (20:48.9) at the South Regionals … finished 10th (22:18.2) at the Bulldog SEC Preview.
High School: Attended Landmark Christian High School … Four-year letterwinner in cross country and track and field (ran 5K, 1600m, 3200m, 4×400) as well as a three-year letterwinner in swimming … Helped team to back-to-back-to-back state championships (2014, 2015, 2016) … Won 2016 individual state championship in cross country and 2017 individual track and field title in 1600m and 3200m – recording fastest time in each event … Named All-American after finishing seventh at Footlocker Nationals in 2016 … Named 2016-17 Gatorade Cross Country Player of the Year for Georgia … Holds school records for 1600m, 3200m and 5K.
Personal: Intends on majoring in Business … Enjoys biking around Atlanta and seeing new places with friends in her spare time.
