2023-24, 2024-25 ACC Academic Honor Roll
2025 (R-Sophomore): Appeared in 13 games out of the bullpen, throwing 13.0 innings…Saw a significant rise in his strikeout stuff, posting 20 strikeouts in 13.0 innings (13.8 K/9) more than doubling his total from his redshirt freshman season (6.0)…Matched his career-long for a single outing twice, pitching 2.0 innings against Old Dominion (Feb. 15) and Kennesaw State (March 4)…Recorded a career-high five strikeouts in his 2.0 innings of work against Old Dominion, even more impressive considering he entered that game in the second inning with two on and nobody out, striking out all three batters he faced to keep Tech in a game they would ultimately win on a walk-off grand slam.
2024 (R-Freshman): Appeared in nine games out of the bullpen, finishing with a 5.00 ERA over 9.0 innings…Recorded six strikeouts…Delivered 3.0 scoreless innings over his final three appearances against Boston College (March 30), at Clemson (May 3) and at Florida State (May 17)…Pitched a season-long 2.0 innings on opening day vs. Radford (Feb. 16).
2023 (Freshman): Did not see game action.
High School: Rated as a No. 21 right-handed pitcher in the state of Georgia by Perfect Game … Multi-sport athlete at Alpharetta High School, playing baseball and football … Three-year letterwinner in baseball as a pitcher and infielder … Named Team MVP his senior year … A three-time Preseason All-American … Earned All-Region honors all three years … 15-time All-Tournament Team selection … 5-time WWBA Champion … FSS National Showcase participant … Played five years of showcase ball, amounting to a whopping 136 games … In 60 innings pitched, recorded a 1.80 ERA and 2-1 record, surrendering just 48 hits and 15 earned runs, while striking out 70 batters … Allowed just two earned runs over his final 26.0 innings pitched with Perfect Game, striking out 31 and allowing just 13 hits … Also took 265 at-bats where he hit .242 with 23 doubles, three triples and six homers … Also drove in 59 runs … Mother, Shannon, played tennis at Georgia (1988-92) before touring professionally, where, as a doubles player, she was runner up in three WTA Tour tournaments and was ranked as high as 60 in 1993.
