2017-18 ACC Academic Honor Roll

2019-20 (Junior): Competed individually in the 50 free, 100 free, 200 free and 100 fly, as well as in all five relays this season … Strongest performance of the season came at the Georgia Tech Invitational, turning in season-best times in the 50 free (21.00), 100 free (45.77), 200 free (1:40.86) and 100 fly (50.58) … Finished in the top five in the 50 free (21.43) and in the 100 fly (52.05) against Georgia Southern, SCAD … Also had a strong showing against Tennessee, finishing his 50 free split in 21.33 and finishing the 200 free in 1:43.87.

2018-19 (Sophomore): Competed for the Jackets in the 50 free, 100 free, 200 free, 50 fly, 100 fly and 200 IM … Also part of the 200 medley and 400 medley relay groups … Finished first in the 200 free (1:40.28) at the Auburn Invite … Also set two PRs at the Auburn Invite, in the 50 fly (22.93) and 100 fly (50.28), and swam his fastest 50 free (21.02) and 100 free (45.39) at the Auburn Invite … Competed in the 50 free (21.51), 200 free (1:47.78) and 100 fly (52.34) at the Georgia Tech Invitational.

2017-18 (Freshman): Added depth for the Yellow Jackets in the sprint free and middle distance events all season long … Tied for the seventh-fastest time on the team in the 50 free (20.80) … Also turned in the seventh-best time for the Jackets on the season in the 100 free (45.07) and the eighth-fastest time in the 200 free (1:40.23) events … Posted the 10th-fastest time for Tech on the year in the 100 fly (51.36) … Registered a pair of top-five finishes in the dual meet at SCAD, placing third overall in the 500 free (4:51.55) and finishing fifth in the 200 free (1:45.52) … Placed sixth in the 100 free (48.36) against Emory … Also finished sixth in the 200 free (1:46.43) against Delta State … Finished seventh overall in the 50 free (22.28) and in the 100 free (48.78) in the dual meet versus Delta State … Turned in an eight-place showing in the 200 free (1:46.28) against Pittsburgh, and in the 50 free in dual meets at South Carolina (21.91) and versus Emory (21.97) … Swam for the Yellow Jackets in the 50 free (21.34), 100 free (45.84), 200 free (1:42.46) and 100 fly (51.36) events at the Georgia Tech Invitational … Competed in the 50 free (20.80 and 20.92), 100 free (45.07 and 45.17) and 200 free (1:40.23 and 1:41.48) events at the Bulldog Invitational Last Chance Meet.

Before Tech: A four-year member on the swim team at Alpharetta High School … A three-time NISCA all-American … Ranked as high as No. 9 overall in the state of Georgia for the class of 2017 … Led his team to a state runner-up finish in 2015 … Was a key part in guiding his team to Fulton County Championships in both 2014 and 2015 … Tabbed the Team MVP as a junior in 2016 … Was a team captain his senior season … Was also a nominee for the 2016 Georgia Positive Athlete Award … Holds Alpharetta High School team records in the 50 free (21.04), 100 free (45.51), 200 medley relay (1:34.01), 200 free relay (1:26.67) and 400 free relay (3:04.33) … Finished third overall in the 50 free (21.04) and second in the 100 free (45.51) at the 2017 Georgia 6A High School State Championships … Placed second overall in the 50 free (21.09) and fourth in the 100 free (45.99) at the 2016 Georgia 6A High School State Championships … Also a member of the Dynamo Swim Club team … Swam the anchor leg (45.51) for the Dynamo 400 medley relay that earned the bronze medal and set a Georgia State record with a time of 3:16.53 at the 2015 Speedo Winter Juniors East … Made the finals and placed 12th in the 100 free (45.16) and anchored Dynamo’s fourth-place 400 medley relay (44.62) at 2016 Speedo Winter Juniors East … A three-time USA Swimming scholastic all-American … Also a four-time honor roll member at Alpharetta High School.

Personal:Has two older siblings … Chose Tech because he wants to be an engineer and Georgia Tech offers one of the best engineering programs in the country … He also chose Tech because of the phenomenal swim program and facilities, as well as it being in-state and close to home … Intends to major in civil engineering.
