2020 (Redshirt Sophomore): Did not make an appearance in the shortened 2020 season.

2019 (Redshirt Freshman): Made seven appearances out of the bullpen … Finished with 5.2 innings of work, allowing just six earned runs in limited appearances for a 9.53 ERA … Made four shutout appearances including two no-hit outings … Had his best game against Richmond (Feb. 16), when he pitched 1.1 scoreless, striking out one and only surrendering two hits … Allowed just one run in 1.0 innings against Notre Dame (March 30).

2018 (Freshman): Received a medical redshirt … Missed most of the season due to an injury … Pitched in four games on the season, making one start … Totaled 6.1 innings on the mound for the Jackets … Posted a 9.95 ERA … Recorded 10 strikeouts … Made his first collegiate start on the mound at home versus Mercer (March 21) … Threw a season-high 2.2 innings versus Bradley (Feb. 17) … Struck out a season-high six batters versus the Braves (Feb. 17) … Also struck out two hitters over a scoreless inning at Georgia State (March 7) … Pitched an inning in game two of the doubleheader at No. 6 Clemson (March 10) … Graduated from high school a semester early and enrolled at Georgia Tech mid-year in January 2018.

Before Tech: Graduated a semester early from Fannin County High School to join the Jackets in the spring of 2018 … Lettered for three years in baseball for head coach Jon Ayres and one year on the basketball court for coach Scott Eggleston at Fannin County … Ranked as the No. 4 lefty in the state of Georgia and No. 21 nationally by Perfect Game in the 2018 class … Also ranked as the No. 19 overall prospect for the class of 2018 in the state of Georgia and the No. 183 nationally ranked prospect by PG … Was a 2017 PG underclassmen all-American third team selection and a 2016 PG underclassmen all-American honorable mention member … A 2017 PG National Showcase and 2016 Jr. National Showcase participant, the lefty was named to the Showcase Top Prospect team both times … A three-time all-region 7-AAA player by Georgia Dugout Club … Was also a preseason all-state first team selection by the Georgia Dugout Club for his senior season in 2018, which he skipped to attend Tech … Led his team in hitting both as a freshman and a junior … Hit two home runs on opening day in 2017, one from each side of the plate … Threw a perfect game for Fannin County versus Union County as a junior in 2017 … Also recorded a no-hitter as a sophomore in 2016 against Towns County High School … As a member of the 6-4-3 DP Tigers in 2014, he helped lead his squad to the 2014 14U Perfect Game-East Cobb Invitational championship before moving on to the East Cobb Colt .45s where he was a part of the 2016 16U PG Evoshield Classic, the 2016 WWBA 16U National Championship Qualifier, the 2016 16U WWBA Memorial Day at LakePoint, the 2015 PG Elite Underclass Championship and the 2015 15U Perfect Game-East Cobb Invitational championship teams … Was named to a total of 22 PG all-tournament teams from 2015-17, including both the 2016 and 2017 WWBA World Championship all-tournament teams … Made the PG 17U Tournament all-American first team and was invited to attend the 2017 East Coast Pro top prospect event … Ranked No. 1 in his graduating class at Fannin County H.S. … A member of the National Honor Society … Also served as a junior board member of the United Community Bank … Earned a total of 25 semester hours as an advanced placement and dual enrollment student at Fannin County … A two-time FCHS varsity academic team member and a Fields of Faith — Fellowship of Christian Athletes event leader … Received the 2018 senior superlative “Best All Around” award … Was also a 2017 SACSN National High School Leadership award winner — a distinctive recognition for academic and athlete experience and community charitable work … A Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership award winner in 2016 as a sophomore.

Personal: Has a younger brother … Graduated early from high school to play at Georgia Tech and in the ACC, skipping his 2018 senior baseball season … Also enjoys playing golf, basketball and fishing … Chose Tech because it is in a great baseball conference, the coaching staff, it is a great academic institution and it is close to home … Intends to major in industrial engineering.
