Played in three games and started the Sept. 11 Kansas game… carried six times for 38 yards (6.3 yards per carry)… suffered his injury in late September and did not play the remainder of the season… carried once for three yards in the season opener vs. South Carolina State (Sept. 4)… rushed five times for 35 yards in first career start, at Kansas.
2009 (Sophomore)
A top back-up at A-back… played in all 14 games… rushed 33 times for 190 yards (5.8 ypa) and three touchdowns… rushed five times for 21 yards vs. Georgia (Nov. 28)… rushed five times for 47 yards and a touchdown at Duke (Nov. 14)… had a career-high four rushing attempts at Vanderbilt (Oct. 31)… rushed three times for 23 yards including a key 13-yard touchdown run in the win over fourth-ranked Virginia Tech (Oct. 27)… had three rushing attempts for 26 yards, a 19-yard run, and a touchdown carry at Florida State (Oct. 10)… had two carries for 14 yards at Mississippi State (Oct. 3).
2008 (Freshman)
The true freshman took off the redshirt in the sixth game of the year and served as a speedy back-up at A-back and a primary kick returner… showed promising ability as a runner, receiver and returner… had just four carries but averaged 9.2 yards per attempt… caught one pass for 47 yards… had nine kick returns for 200 yards (22.2 ypa)… had 83 all-purpose yards in the Chick-fil-A Bowl against LSU (Dec. 31)… had one reception for 47 yards and two kick returns for 36 yards against the Tigers… had a 37-yard kick return and three total returns for 84 yards at North Carolina (Nov. 8)… had a nifty 29-yard run to set up a touchdown in Tech[apos]s win over Florida State (Nov. 1)… had two kick returns for 38 yards including a long of 23 against Virginia (Oct. 25).. carried three times for eight yards including a long of four yards vs. Gardner-Webb (Oct. 11)… a small but extremely quick back… has an exceptional initial burst… has a second gear in the open field… compared by some to Garrett Wolfe.
