2013 (True Freshman): Was impressive out of the bullpen as a rookie for the Yellow Jackets… Made 16 relief appearances and was not scored on in 11 of his outings… Finished the season with a 2.93 ERA and no decisions… Made his college debut with a hitless ninth inning to close out the 13-1 win over Rutgers on March 1… Worked a perfect ninth inning as Tech completed the sweep of Boston College with a 9-1 win on March 17… Logged a career-best 1.2 innings of scoreless, hitless relief at No. 5 Florida State on March 22… Pitched 1.1 innings of one-hit, scoreless relief versus No. 17 NC State on April 20… Worked a career-long 4.0 shutout innings at Miami on May 17, with a career-high three strikeouts.
