2020 Collegiate Baseball Freshman All-American

2022 (Sophomore): Started in all 60 games as Tech’s main third baseman … Hit .275 on the season with 10 doubles, two triples and 14 home runs … Drove in 58 runs on the year …  Started the year hot hitting .348 through March 15 … Went 3-for-3 with two home runs, a walk and three RBI against Wright State (Feb. 19) …  Had three hits, one homer and one double for three RBI against Gardner-Webb (Feb 25) … Went 2-for-4 with three RBI and a walk in the series-clinching win at then-No. 5 Georgia (March 5) … Was 2-for-3 with two RBI, a home run and three runs against Jackson State (March 15) … Was a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, a home run and three runs against Charleston Southern (March 29) … Drove in three runs on two hits (one homer) at North Carolina (April 15) … Was the hero in the comeback win over Duke (April 22), pulling Tech within one-run with a grand slam in the seventh inning before walking off the Blue Devils in the 10th inning on an RBI single … Crushed two more home runs against Duke in the series finale on April 24 … In the first two games at Pitt (May 19-20), knocked four hits, two home runs and five RBI … Fell a home run shy of the cycle with a 4-for-5, three RBI day against then-No. 7 Louisville (May 26) in the ACC Tournament.

2021 (Freshman): Made 53 appearances and 47 starts … Made 24 starts at first base, 18 starts at designated hitter and five starts at third base … Finished hitting .294, for 55 hits, 10 doubles, one triple and a team-best 13 home run for 37 RBI … Had 17 multi-hit games and 10 multi-RBI games … Reached base in the final 12 games of the season … Hit .300 through April 17 before a cold spell … Caught fire in the postseason, recording five hits and two doubles in the ACC Tournament and seven hits and four home runs for seven RBI in the NCAA Nashville Regional … Went 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBI against Eastern Kentucky (Feb. 20) … Combined for four hits, two doubles and three RBI in the last two games at the-No. 8 and eventual College World Series participant NC State (Feb. 27-28) … Exploded against then-No. 1 Louisville for six hits, three home runs, two doubles, six RBI and four walks … Went 3-for-5 for three RBI against Pitt (March 14) … Fell a home run shy of the cycle against Virginia (April 3) … Came in to hit a pinch-hit walk-off home run in the bottom of the ninth against North Carolina (May 21) … Went 2-for-4 in the opening game of the ACC Tournament vs. Clemson (May 26) … Then hit two doubles and three hits total in the extra-innings thriller against Louisville (May 27) … Hit a two-run home run in the ninth against then-No. 4 Vanderbilt (June 5) in winner’s game of the NCAA Nashville Regional … Went 3-for-5 for three RBI in the elimination game against Indiana State (June 6) in the Nashville Regional … Recorded two hits, including a solo home run with two outs in the bottom of the ninth to force extras against then-No. 4 Vanderbilt (June 6).

2020 (Freshman): Started all 16 games in the shortened 2020 season at first base … Named a Collegiate Baseball freshman all-American … Finished second on the team with a .321 average, recording 18 hits, four doubles, one triple and three home runs for 12 RBI … Finished tied-second for longest team hitting streak (six) … Slugged .589 with a .420 on-base percentage … Became the third Yellow Jacket since 2015 to hit a home run in his first collegiate plate appearance – (Michael Guldberg in 2018; Blake Jackson in 2015) … Went a scorching 4-for-5 against Ohio State (Feb. 21), including a solo home run … Also recorded two hits in three-straight games – Ohio State (Feb. 23), Gardner-Webb (Feb. 25) and at then-No. 4 Georgia (Feb. 28) … Also knocked in four RBI against Gardner-Webb (Feb. 25) … Also drove in three RBI against Tennessee Tech (March 3) … Had a six-game hitting streak to finish the season and nine out of the last 10 games.

Before Tech: Ranked the No. 5 overall recruit and top third-basemen in the state of New Jersey by Perfect Game … Helped lead Governor Livingston High School to a 29-4 (9-2) record and a No. 8 ranking in the state … A strong switch-hitting threat, had 21 hits, seven doubles, two homers and 14 RBI in 76 at-bats in 2018 tournaments … Had a fine outing in the 2018 WWBA World Championships where he hit .238 with five hits, one home run and two RBI in 21 at-bats … Had the best tournament of the year at the WWBA ’19 Grads event, garnering all-tournament honors for hitting .455 with 10 hits and eight RBI, while also getting three stolen bases … Helped lead the team to the county championship in 2018 … Named first-team all-state and the New Jersey Player of the Year as a senior after leading the state with 14 home runs.

Personal: Has two older siblings … Intends on majoring in business administration.
