His return this fall should be a shot in the arm to defensive coordinator Al Groh[apos]s defense… played a significant role as a true freshman in 2008 and started the first three games of 2009 before being diagnosed with Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome, which caused him to miss the rest of the season… returned to action in spring practice… a fundamentally sound player with surprising speed… received a medical hardship from the ACC in June and will have three years of eligibility remaining.

2009 (Sophomore)
Started the first three games of the season before being diagnosed with Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome, which caused him to sit out the rest of the season… was diagnosed after an extremely high heartbeat in the Sept. 17 Miami game… had 16 tackles and one interception in the first three games of the season… produced his second career interception and recorded eight tackles in the win over Clemson (Sept. 10)… recorded six tackles in the season opener vs. Jacksonville State (Sept. 5)… debuted a brand-new Mohawk haircut for the season opener.

2008 (Freshman)
