MLB Draft: Drafted in the 34th round by the Atlanta Braves (1020th overall) in 2015 but chose to attend Tech.
2018 (Redshirt Sophomore): Missed most of the season due to injuries … Played in and started six games in the outfield for the Jackets … Hit .300 with two home runs, a double, six RBIs and three runs scored … Posted a .650 slugging percentage and a .318 on-base percentage in limited action … Had a season-high four-game hitting streak … Drove in a career-high three RBIs twice – versus Illinois-Chicago (March 2) and at Georgia State (March 27) … Went 2-for-2 with a home run, a double, three RBIs and two runs scored in the road win at Georgia State (March 27) … Also had a three-run home run in the Friday night win over UIC (March 2) … Went 1-for-2 in the Saturday afternoon win against the Flames (March 3) and 1-for-4 in the Sunday series versus Illinois-Chicago (March 4) … Picked up a single in game one of the doubleheader at No. 6 Clemson (March 10).
2017 (Sophomore): Missed the majority of the season due to injuries … Received a medical hardship redshirt … Played in eight games, starting four contests in center field … Hit .308 (4-for-13) with one home run, two RBIs and five runs scored … Posted a .538 slugging percentage and a .438 on-base percentage … Hit a two-run home run and registered two RBIs versus No. 16 Auburn (Mar. 21) … Went 2-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base in the 7-6 extra-inning win at Wake Forest (Mar. 24) … Also was 1-for-4 with a run scored versus the Demon Deacons (Mar. 25).
2016 (Freshman): Appeared in 21 games and made 13 starts as a freshman … Hit .294 with four doubles, one home run and five RBIs … Scored the first run in Tech’s win over UMBC on Feb. 28 … Scored his first collegiate run after a walk against UMBC on Feb. 28 to help lead the Yellow Jackets to a 6-1 win … Earned his first collegiate hit and RBI against Western Carolina on March 6 … Recorded his first career home run on April 23 in a win at Clemson … Missed most of the season’s last month with an injury … Wore jersey No. 1 on the season.
Before Tech: Four-year letterwinner at Wesleyan School under head coach Brian Krehmeyer … Helped Wesleyan claim the state title after he went 3-for-4 with two home runs, a double and four RBIs in the decisive game of the 2015 GHSA AA State Championship … Batted .360 over his high school career with 68 RBIs, 42 stolen bases and a school-record six triples … Listed as a 2015 NCSAA All-American … Two-year letterwinner as the point guard on the basketball team under head coach Ryan Hodges … A member of the Dean’s List every semester of high school.
