2016 (Freshman): Made 24 appearances as a rookie, the third-most on the team and the most by a Georgia Tech freshman … Was 2-5 with three saves and a 5.72 ERA in 45.2 innings … His collegiate debut came in the season-opener vs. Purdue on Feb. 19 … Scattered two hits in 3.0 innings of relief to earn his first career win … Suffered first loss on March 12 at Florida State after allowing six runs — one earned — on three hits in 2.1 innings … Notched back-to-back saves against Virginia Tech and No. 3 North Carolina … Struck out a career-high nine batters in 4.0 no-hit relief innings for the save against Virginia Tech on March 19 … Scattered two hits in 3.0 scoreless innings for a save at No. 3 North Carolina on March 26 … Made his first career start on April 16 vs. NC State, allowing six runs on six hits in 1.0 inning … Struck out five batters in a losing effort against Mercer on April 19 … Credited with his second win of the season on April 24 at No. 21 Clemson.
