Macon FM Radio Station Extends Deal With Tech, ISP

Feb. 17, 2009

MACON, Ga. – Georgia Tech and International Sports Properties (ISP) announced today that Macon (Ga.) FM radio station WQMJ, “Majic 100,” will broadcast Yellow Jacket football and men’s basketball games for at least the next three years.

The extension of an existing agreement gives Georgia Tech athletics a large radio presence in Central Georgia.

“We are excited about the opportunity to extend our six-year relationship with ISP and Georgia Tech,” WQMJ-FM General Manager Michael Roberts said. “Majic 100 is honored to remain the exclusive home of Georgia Tech football and basketball in Macon, Forsyth and all of middle Georgia.”

WQMJ-FM’s deal with Georgia Tech and ISP begins this fall with Yellow Jacket football.
