Georgia Tech Athletic Association (GTAA) is seeking qualified applicants for the Marketing/Fan Experience internship program. This internship is for those seeking practical experience as a requirement to their degree program and will support GTAA initiatives through the coordination and implementation of various creative, marketing, and sales strategies. GAME PRESENTATION
Immerse yourself into a GT game day. Assist with sponsorship activations, provide high levels of customer service, and help create memories that will last a lifetime for fans. Help make GT the place to be on any given game day!
DIGITAL AND TRADITIONAL MARKETING
Atlanta is one of the major markets in the country. Work to gain experience in promoting GT Game Days to various audience in and around the 404. Learn how to analyze and interpret data that can strategically get fans in the stands!
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
Every organization must have strong ties to their community. With Atlanta being in a major market, we need to ensure we are creating engaging and meaningful programs that can create strong brand awareness and affinity!
EVENT PLANNING
GT Athletics creates programing for external groups. These include youth events for Junior Jackets, watch parties for GT students, and even programs for campus partners. Learn how to plan effectively and yield great results!

Required Qualifications:
- Internship is predicated on collaboration with their institution and compensation is in the form of class credit
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays depending on work and game schedules.
- Fall Marketing & Fan Experience Interns are expected to work the following number home events at minimum:
- 1 swim & dive meet, 4 football games, 10 volleyball matches, and 12 basketball games
- Self-directed and motivated
- Ability to work some hours in the office, in addition to scheduled events
