THE FLATS – Georgia Tech women’s tennis has added Kate Sharabura to the 2021-22 roster, Byers Women’s Tennis Head Coach Rodney Harmon announced.
The Atlanta, Ga., native is ranked a top 50 recruit in the nation by TennisRecruiting.net as a five-star recruit in the class of 2021. She is the fourth-ranked recruit coming out of the state of Georgia according to TennisRecruiting.net. Sharabura, who attended Atlanta Classical Academy, has won three gold ball tournaments including the 2017 Winter Nationals Champion G14 Doubles title, 2018 Easter Bowl Champion G14 Doubles title and the 2018 National Doubles G16 Championship. Sharabura is also a three-time Southern Champion in 18’s doubles.
Excelling both on and off the court, Sharabura was named to the honor roll all four years at Atlanta Classical Academy.
She joins Kylie Bilchev as part of the incoming recruiting class.
