Women’s Tennis Signs Kylie Bilchev

THE FLATS – Georgia Tech Byers Women’s Tennis Head Coach Rodney Harmon announced the signing of Kylie Bilchev to the Yellow Jacket roster.

“We’re so excited Kylie is coming to play for us at Georgia Tech,” said Harmon. “She is a highly accomplished player in Great Britain and internationally. I feel really confident she’ll have a great career here as a student-athlete at Georgia Tech.”

Bilchev, a native of Ipswich, England, is ranked a top 150 ITF Junior recruit and will bring a wealth of international playing experience to The Flats. Bilchev has represented Great Britain in the European Winter and Summer Cups in U14, playing the No. 1 position. She has won three Tennis Europes and was the 2016 Eddie Herr doubles champion, 2018 ITF G5 Dubai Champion and 2019 British Tour (Frinton) Champion.

A graduate of Kesgrave High School, Bilchev also captured the ITF G2 and G4 doubles championship in Belgium and Lithuania. She is set to compete at Wimbledon Juniors this summer.
