As a Senior (2015): Started every game at first base … Hit .241 with 13 runs on 35 hits, including seven doubles and six home runs for a team-best 31 RBI … Struck out just 13 times in 145 at bats … Hit the first home run for Tech on the season against Kansas (Feb. 6) in the season opener … Hit two home runs in the series finale against Pitt (March 15) … Hit a grand slam in the 5-4 upset at #22 Texas A&M (April 4) … Had a day at Jacksonville State (April 15), going 3-for-4 with a double and four RBI … Went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI against Boston College (April 18) … Hit 3-for-4 at Virginia (March 8) with two doubles.
As a Junior (2014): Batted .218 with 16 runs and 18 RBI on 31 hits as the team’s first baseman … Made five pitching appearances, starting once … Belted four home runs and nine doubles for a .366 slugging percentage on the season … Pitched a complete game against No. 6 Florida State on April 27, giving up just three runs on three hits … Scored a career-high four runs vs. ETSU (Feb. 15).
As a Sophomore (2013): Split time between first base and pitching … Hit .247 on the season with 13 runs on 36 hits and 10 RBI … Smacked eight doubles, two triples and a home run … Hit by seven pitches, the second-most on the squad … Led the ACC with 16 double plays fielded … Posted an 8.14 ERA with a 3-3 record in the circle … Made 12 appearances and six starts for 32.2 innings pitched … Tallied three three-hit games and six total multiple-hit games.
As a Freshman (2012): Played in 48 games, making 43 starts including six appearances and two starts in the circle … Pitched 19 innings and had a 1-1 record … Batted .228 with 28 hits, 21 RBI and six runs in 123 at bats … Tallied the second-most putouts on the team (255) and made just three errors for a .989 fielding percentage … Went 2-for-3 with two RBI and a walk against Western Kentucky (March 3) … Registered multiple RBI games eight times.
High School: A letterwinner at Buford High School … Helped Buford to win AA state championships in all four of her years … Also lettered in basketball and tennis at Buford … Won the state championship with the basketball team in 2009 and 2011 at Buford … Named to the All-State team all four years … Named the AJC Player of the Year, Gwinnett Daily Post Co-Player of the Year and the Gwinnett Dugout Player of the Year in 2010 … Holds the school record for most strikeouts in a game with 18 … Was on the Honor Roll and graduated 14th in her class.
Personal: Born Karly Ann Fullem on Feb. 16, 1993 in Charlotte, N.C. … Parents are David and Jill Fullem … Sister of Katie, Kristen and Kelsey … Chose Georgia Tech for the school’s reputation, Atlanta location and great softball program … Hobbies include reading, listening to music, playing basketball and ALTA tennis … Majoring in business administration.
