THE FLATS — Week 6 saw an enthralling matchup between the New England Patriots and the Kansas City Chiefs, featuring Shaq Mason and Harrison Butker for their respective teams.
Butker was a perfect 4-for-4 in field goal attempts and also a perfect 4-for-4 in extra points to bolster the Chiefs scoring efforts. However, it was Mason and the Patriots who emerged victorious 43-40 over the Chiefs.
The Chiefs extended their streak of scoring on their first possession in every game this season with Harrison Butker connecting on a 42-yard field goal with 9:05 in the first quarter. Shaq Mason’s strong play has contributed to the New England Patriots being the second-best offensive line in terms of sacks allowed.
Broncos’ wideout Demaryius Thomas found the end zone for the second-straight game, connecting with Case Keenum on a 1-yard pass with 1:27 left in the fourth quarter for the 60th touchdown of his career. Unfortunately for Thomas and the Broncos, it was too little too late, with the Rams coming out on top by a score of 23-20.
The last time we played the Cardinals in the regular season, @DemaryiusT went OFF for a career-high 226 yards and two touchdowns.
