#ProJackets Football Report: Week 5

THE FLATS — In a knock-down drag-out battle the line of scrimmage on Sunday, Georgia Tech #ProJacket Shaq Mason helped push the New England Patriots to a perfect 5-0.

With Mason at guard, the Patriots rushed for 130 yards and protected to help New England amass 312 yards through the air, averaging 6.0 yards per play on offense.

Tight end Darren Waller continues to be a consistent source of offense for Oakland, helping them to their second-straight win, downing the Bears 24-21. Waller hauled in four receptions for 39 yards, including a 13-yarder during the game.

Linebacker Jeremiah Attaochu returned to the field in the first week after being signed for Denver Broncos. Attaochu finished with a solo tackle in Denver’s 20-13 win over the Chargers.

Safety Morgan Burnett returned to the starting since being signed by the Browns. He recorded a solo tackle in the 31-3 loss to the 49ers.

With the Jets, wide receiver Demaryius Thomas got his second start since joining the club. He hauled in four catches for 48 yards, including a 16-yarder in the 31-6 loss to the Eagles.

Kansas City suffered its first setback of the season on Sunday when it lost 19-13 to the Colts. In the game, kicker Harrison Butker was 2-for-2 on field goals and made his lone extra point attempt. He had four kickoffs, averaging 50.8 yards per kick.
