THE FLATS — The 102nd season of the National Football League is upon us and several former Yellow Jackets had strong weeks in this edition of the #ProJackets Football Report.
Adam Gotsis continued his great play of late and recorded four more tackles, including a TFL, despite the Jags 31-19 setback to the Cardinals. Also on the defensive end for #ProJackets, Jeremiah Attaochu also had a tackle in the Bears’ 26-6 loss to the Browns.
Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker hit his long field-goal attempt – 34-yarder – but was 3-for-3 on point-after attempts and boomed dive kickoffs for three touchbacks.
The Raiders outlasted the Dolphins in overtime 31-28, with tight end Darren Waller hauling in five receptions for 54 yards. He now has 224 yards on the season.
The Steelers were unable to down the Bengals, falling 24-10, but punter Pressley Harvin III kicked four punts for 162 yards at a 40.5-yard clip, including a 50-yard kick and his sixth punt downed inside the 20.
