Jackets Recognized at ACC Postgraduate Luncheon

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Atlantic Coast Conference recognized Georgia Tech’s four recipients of the ACC Postgraduate Scholarship and the Jackets Without Borders program as the ACC Game Changer on Wednesday at its annual Postgraduate Luncheon. The annual event was held at the Sheraton Four Seasons Hotel in Greensboro.

The ACC awarded 52 student-athletes the Weaver-James-Corrigan Postgraduate Scholarship including Georgia Tech’s James Clark (golf), Amy Ruiz (women’s cross country/track and field), Brad Stewart (football) and Jeanine Williams (women’s track and field).

Additionally, Georgia Tech received the 2019 ACC Game Changers Award for its Jackets Without Borders program. The Game Changers initiative recognizes and highlights specific ACC teams’ involvement in the community.
