FIVE JACKETS IN, ONE OUT AT THE PLAYERS
Five of the seven Yellow Jackets on the PGA Tour were in the field last weekend for its premier event, The Players Championship in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. Stewart Cink, Chesson Hadley, Matt Kuchar, Cameron Tringale and Richy Werenski. But only Hadley was able to complete four rounds the stadium course at TPC Sawgrass in event that was interrupted three times by weather and twice by darkness, and was completed on Monday.
Hadley, who tied for 63rd place with a 4-over-par total of 292, held his position at No. 195 in the FedEx Cup standings. Tringale dropped one spot to No. 19, while Kuchar is at No. 111, Cink is at No. 175 and Werenski at No. 210.
The Tour crosses the state of Florida this week for the Valspar Championship in Palm Harbor, Fla., and all seven Tour Jackets are in the field, with Seth Reeves and Vincent Whaley returning to action after a week off.

KORN FERRY TOUR RESUMES AFTER MONTH OFF
Anders Albertson and Paul Haley II return to action this weekend as the Korn Ferry Tour resumes competition after a month off with the Chitimacha Louisiana Open in Broussard, La.
Haley, who just missed earning his PGA Tour card at the end of the 2021 season, has played well in the early going of 2022, sitting in ninth position on the Korn Ferry points standings. Playing three of the four events so far, Haley posted a runner-up finish at the Great Exuma Classic in the Bahamas, and tied for 14th in the tour’s most recent event, the LECOM Suncoast Classic.
