THE FLATS – Georgia Tech swimming and diving will take part in the 2022 NCAA Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships, hosted at McAuley Aquatic Center.
Tech will compete from Thursday to Saturday with three qualifying athletes. There will be one Yellow Jacket swimmer in McKenzie Campbell who will be competing in the 200 IM (3/17), 400 IM (3/18) and 200 fly (3/19).
Two Jackets divers qualified with Camryn Hidalgo and Anna Bradescu. Hidalgo will compete in all three diving events and Bradescu will compete on the platform. Hidalgo is a four-time All-American, while Bradescu has one All-American honor to her name. Both earned All-American honors on platform during last year’s NCAA Championships.
The swimming and diving team is coming off an ACC Championship where Hidalgo qualified for finals on all three boards and Bradescu qualified on platform.
Bradescu placed fourth on platform at the Zone ‘B’ Qualifying Championship.
Following this meet, the White and Gold will compete at the Men’s NCAA Swimming and Diving Championship from March 23-26.
