Yellow Jackets In The NFL Update

Oct. 4, 2010

Calvin Johnson and the Detroit Lions can’t buy a win, but the former Yellow Jacket is proving to be one of the best wide receivers in football.

Johnson had six receptions for 86 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday’s 28-26 loss to the Green Bay Packers.

Sunday was also a good day for Dawan Landry and the Baltimore Ravens. Landry had eight tackles as the Ravens knocked Pittsburgh from the ranks of the unbeaten.

And some bad news from Sunday – Green Bay Packers rookie Morgan Burnett is out for the remainder of the season with a torn ACL. Tough break for a young guy who had emerged as a starter at safety.
